During Christmas time I enjoyed going to the beach along with a sack to rival Santa's filled not with toys but books. These included Julie Klassen's books, all of them but her newest "The Tutor's Daughter", Airman by Eoin Colfer (as I am a huge fan of the Artemis Fowl series) and Stardust by Neil Gaiman. The books I enjoyed most would have to be The Apothecary's Daughter (Julie Klassen) and Maid of Fairbourne Hall (Julie Klassen as well). I have not yet read the new book I recieved for Christmas (The 13 Curses by Michelle Harrison) or Airman or Stardust but I look forward to it and will keep you posted. Summer holidays are always amazing and even more so with a book by my side. Or should I say a pile.....

Hi!
Hi and welcome to my blog!!! With this being the opening post I should probably say something fitting for the occasion. Something like " I now pronounce this blog official and online" or maybe something like " With the power vested in me by this the Internet, I dub thee THE LEGEND OF THE BOOKWORM, that all your days may be online." Yep, that's better. Now the formalities are out of the way, HI. Lets get introduced. I'm just an average teenager with a love for books and all things literature. I love rainy days as long as my to read pile is high, and would read all day if I could. ( NOT A FIGURE OF SPEECH BY THE WAY) I'm looking forward to Summer holidays and kicking back with a good read. Heading to the library this afternoon to stock up on some good books. I'll let you know what I find.....
" Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read "
- Groucho Marx
" The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid."
- Jane Austen
About Me
